A scientist in the field of psycholinguistics of development, pedagogical and child psychology.

On the 23-rd of April 2012 was elected as academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Pedagogical Education (certificate number 2240).

Candidate of pedagogical sciences (17.11.1982). Doctor of psychological sciences (21.09.2011). Theme of doctoral dissertation: «Psychology of speech activity the development of children of a preschool age».

Associate Professor of the department of linguistics and methods of teaching languages (1990). Professor of the department of preschool pedagogy and psychology (2007).

Editorial board member of journals: «Humanitarian herald» and «East European Journal of Psycholinguistics».

Honorary titles: «Excellent in Education» (2001), «Honorable Employee of the Tourism of Ukraine» (2000).

Was rewarded by a charter of the Supreme Soviet of Ukraine «For Service to the Ukrainian people» (№ 490 from 30 April 2004).

Place of work: Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi SPU named after Hryhoriy Skovoroda – Professor, the Head of Psychology chair, the Head of the laboratory of «Psycholinguistics of development».

A circle of scientific interests – psycholinguistics of development, reflexive psycholinguistics, lingvopedagogical psychology, lingvodidactics.

Basic achievements – revealed regularities of the development of pre-schoolers’ speech activities, determined the mechanisms of ontogenesis of children’s speech, worked out the system of speech activities formation in preschoolers, established the dynamics and vectors of preschoolers’ speech ontogeny.

Basic directions of scientific-research activities: vocational speech activity of the future teachers of Colleges, psycholinguistics of teaching the native, second and foreign languages, childish psycholinguism, psycholinguistics of development and others.
