Abstract

The problem of studying the relationship of cognitive and language development of preschool children in the process of mastering the mother tongue is shown in the article. Materials of different ages of children allowed to survey clearly enough to identify some of the features of the syntactic aspects of speech and its influence on the construction of coherent monologic statement, as well as some of the patterns of development of speech and language skills in pre-school child. The implementation of the proposed tasks for children, in addition to the features of the syntactic aspects of speech of children, clearly revealed the construction of propositional logic, reflecting the characters' actions, ie, relationship of cognitive and linguistic development of the child. Based on the analysis of psycholinguistic characteristics of children's speech, taking into account the psychological specifics of preschool age, we were able to identify children's ability to make a coherent story on a series of thematic pictures.
