Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor of the Chair for Foreign Philology, Translation and Education Methods.

In 2003 graduated from Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi state pedagogical Grigorii Skovoroda University gaining the speciality of English and German Languages and Foreign Literature.

In 2013 defended scientific thesis on the theme «Genre and Stylistic Dimonant of Ingeborg Bachmann’s stories» on speciality 10.02.04 – Germanic Languages at Kyiv national Taras Shevtchenko University, and in 2014 became an associate professor of the chair for foreign philology and education methods.

Studied at University of Salzburg (Austrian Republik).

From 2014 until 2016 was trained at University of Bremen within the framework TEMPUS programme.

In 2014 and 2017 participated at DAAD programs at the University of Applied Sciences in Magdeburg.

Since 2003 works at the Chair for Foreign Philology, Translation and Education Methods.

Olesia Skliarenko trains students in subjects such as: «Basic General Theoretical Course of German»; «Foreign Language for Ph.D. students»; «German as the Second Foreign Language»; «German as the First Foreign Language»; «Methods of Education of the Second Language at General Schools»; «Latin»; «History of the Language»; «Lexicology»; «Practical Course of German»; «Business German»; «Stylistics». Guides students’ research works.
