Professional and psychological discourse as an instrument of influence on the addressee
Abstract
The article highlights the separated and nominated by the author various types of psychotherapeutic and psycho-counseling discourses that are of predominantly directive character and, according to their target and intentional parameters, can be related to psychological effects, in particular, direct management of mental states, feelings, consciousness and behavior of the individual. The empirical material for analyzing the discursive practice of psychologists is the materials of psychotherapeutic sessions, supervision of cases, consulting conversations. The author gave the data on general and specific in the target and intentional organization of the psychologist’s discourse in counseling and psychotherapy, its typical objectives related to the specific situational cases, various complexes of intentions and objects to which they are directed, as well as the data on the constant total component of the target and intentional structure of these types of psychological discourses – an impact on the client, harmonizing psycho-correction. It is noted that psychotherapeutic and psycho-counseling discursive influences are aimed at the expansion, deepening and harmonization of personality’s consciousness, enable to more effective management of the certain life and professional situations, individual psycho states, develop the ability to exercise self-control, to prove adequate self-esteem, self-defense against informational stresses that in complex helps to overcome negative psycho states, which can be a destructive factor.
